HI! IT’S GOOD TO BE BACK!!

After too long an absence we’d like to say hello again to all of our wonderful long-standing and enduring fans around the world. Every time we catch a blog or email about the band it warms our hearts knowing that you remember us, thank you. Another hearty “thank you” goes out to our ever-growing new audience: we acknowledge and appreciate everyone’s support!!

Unlike some of our contemporaries who only regroup temporarily for – okay, let’s say it, we all know it’s true – the money, we’ve come together again for a “greater good.” First, of course, I’m talking about the music; but we’re also motivated by the fans, by each other, and by the possibility of bringing inspiration and joy to people. Oh, all right, and the money. There, I said it (curse you material world)!

On with the latest news:
let’s catch you up on what we’ve all been doing for the past several years…

The biggest announcement, I’m sorry to say, is that we’ve had a death in our musical family. Our original drummer, Shay Angus Goodman, was accidentally killed awhile back in a freak drumming mishap while performing with his son, Angus Shay Goodman. Angus, now going by his middle name, Shay, has since joined the band, replacing his dad. His youthful vigor has truly revitalized our musical spirit and has breathed new life into our old hits as well.

After her abduction in ’88, our divorce (yes it’s true), and the band’s subsequent demise, Jo retreated to an undisclosed location nestled somewhere in the deep wilderness atop a mountain in a great American forest. We’re glad her path in life has led her back to us.

Yes, Ladies, Gil is still single and still a butthead – just an older butthead! But then again, that’s why we always loved him. When the band split up he decided to go back to school to earn his teaching credentials, ending up as a music instructor at the college level – till now.

As for myself, I initially spent several years overseas visiting impoverished villages. During that time I did whatever I could to help fulfill the needs of our brothers and sisters in struggling communities throughout our troubled world. A few years back I moved to the small town of Petersburg, which is located on an island situated along the “Inside Passage” of southeast Alaska. There I enjoyed the great outdoors and was inspired to start writing again. I came to realize that I missed the music, the band, and, most importantly, all of the people whose lives we had touched.

This was the impetus I needed to send some demos to Alan G. DiGueran in L.A. Our fans will remember Alan as our Road Manager all those years ago. What you may not know is that today he heads A.T.E. Studios, and is a multimedia mogul. Alan’s timeless and tireless dedication to our band, and to our music, has once again borne fruit. Due to the great response to the re-emergence of classic rock acts, he has managed to find a way to help bring us back! God bless him!

Someone else you may remember is now filling Alan’s old position. Our new Road Manager is Maureen Caufman. In her teens, Maureen was our last fan club president before we disbanded. Her nephew, Albert, rounds out our core touring family.

In the near future, on our website and at our shows, we’ll be selling our new T-shirts, as well as a limited run three-song preview of our new CD: “Echo Valle Road: Greatest Hits Vol. 1.3”

We invite you to come on out and re-live some wonderful memories listening to old hits like “Somebody to Love,” “Quirky B,” “Julianne, and “Do It Slow,” and make some new ones jammin’ to our current songs like “Crazy Head” and “Winds of Change.” So keep watching our website for upcoming performances.

To all our loyal fans: we cherish you, and we look forward to seeing you soon. Peace and Love, Tony Valle
